Smart Villages launches the Two Stories Bus for external transport and expands in internal transport

Smart Village is the largest (Technology Complex – Cluster Park) gathering in Egypt Specialised in Information Technology and Telecommunication Sector, where more than 160 companies operate from within the village, also more than 40 thousand Employees work in it. Smart villages Company is always keen to provide the best level of service for all employees.

The transportation service is one of the most important services provided by the Smart Villages Company to all employees as it launched in 2010 for the first time in Egypt its internal transportation service to emphasize its leadership in the creative and innovative service ideas for the village.

This internal transportation project began with planning for two phases. Phase number 1 include 16 stations, 10 of them were completed and the rest are expected to be finished in the near future, while the second phase will be 12 stations.

The project is currently served through three large air-conditioned with a smoke free environment to maintain public health. Service is available throughout the week starting from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the weekends.

As for the external transport service, the two story buses are completely new means of transportation in Egypt that is safe and it is affordable to everyone to and from the village.

The new bus carries over 72 passengers per trip; Smart Village management has decided to use these buses as a way to reduce the traffic congestion in Cairo and that stems from our faith towards contributing in solving the traffic crisis in an innovative and developped manner.
