Smart Villages Company sponsors innovation competition to discover technological creative talents.
| In the context of the ongoing efforts to support youth projects and providing them with provisions of success to be the core for a better future for Egypt, Smart Villages Company sponsored the prizes of (TIEC Graduation Projects Competition - إbtiecar 2012) launched by the Center of Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship TIEC in the field of "Smart buildings". This sponsorship stems from Smart Village's vision of creating an encouraging environment to young minds to encourage them on innovation and creativity. The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center TIEC in accordance with its vision, to be a regional center of innovation and initiative spirit, has recently launched a program of students assessment through which it launched Graduation Projects Competition - إbtiecar 2012 This competition is held for university students in graduation year to select the best graduation project for this year in collaboration with major multinational companies and institutes of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. The competition starts in June and runs till next September. The competition aims to discover ideas and creative youth talents and link it to the industry. Moreover, it encourages people to develop new solutions compatible with the techniques of this technological trend as well as appreciating the innovation efforts, which will lead to promote a culture of innovation for the next generation, and finally the competition aims to support innovative marketing ideas . It is noted that the competition awards cover several aspects of creativity and innovation, and Smart villages Company took the liberty to sponsor the awards of "Smart buildings " competition, that can be simply defined by the exchange of information between users, buildings and electromechanical systems, where the information is monitored and controlled for economical and environmental purposes.
