Smart Villages Company successfully launches The Workshops Identifying The Required Criteria For Attaining The European Funds .

Smart Villages Company and ANDgate Technologies sucesseflly launched their workshop on the 22nd and 23rd. Of January, the workshop aims at identifying the research and innovation initiatives presented by the European Union and promoting the eligibility of the Egyptian Companies to participate in the initiatives and attain the funds that reach up to 100 million Euros.

Several companies working in the CIT sector participated in the workshop as well as different corporations specialized in the Research and Development programs.

Smart Villages Company and ANDgate created a consortium under the name of "Smart Gate". SmartGate launched the workshop to help the companies and organizations working in the Egyptian marekt to be well informed of the investment opportunities and areas of possible cooperation with the EU through the introduction of the program and its objectives.

SmartGate (The consortium), will be the official entity in Egypt that can constantly deliver on the different services presented during the workshop, SmartGate will help all the companies willing to benefit from the EU fund, inside and outside of the Smart Village and accordingly will positively reflect on the Egyptian economy.

The Workshops was held in the Smart Villages Conference Center and covered the follwoing topics:

  1. Introduction to the EU R&D Programs and Initiatives for Egyptian Organizations.
  2. Technocratic Enterprise Engineering in Egypt and ICT Strategy Development.
  3. Egyptian technology Scouting, Brokerage and Promotion to Emerging Markets respectively.
