Smart Village Egypt hosts ArabNet Conference in Cairo for the first time
| With almost 75 million mobile subscribers, 25 million internet users, and 8.5 million Facebook users, Egypt presents itself as one of the largest digital markets in the region, teaming with opportunities for ICT companies. ArabNet event is held for the first time in Egypt, in Smart Village on the 19th and the 20th of October. The two-day event involveي more than 600 attendees and more than 40 speakers tackling the latest in the regional and international digital scenes. The event is organized by IBAG and under the auspices of Ministry of Commutations and Information Technology, and in collaboration with TIEC. ArabNet Cairo acts as a launching pad for some of the most promising ideas and startups through its competitions.
