| Job Description |
Supervise all custodial services (implemented by contracted third parties through SLAs) provided within Smart Village buildings that include janitorial services, carpet and floor cleaning, windows cleaning, pest control, waste management |
| Duties and Responsibilities |
1. Signoff on all newly constructed buildings to ensure compliance with designs and contract specifications with regards to areas of responsibility
2. Provide technical direction, supervise scheduling of workload and clarify group activities
3. Undertake feasibility studies for newly constructed buildings within SV to assess their need for workers, equipment, material
4. Review contractor material quotations; prepare technical evaluations, and recommend selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery
5. Supervise contractor(s) operating within SV buildings’ premises to ensure that services are being provided according to contract specifications
6. Assist in the organization of events and VIP visits to the SV
7. Develop, and recommend new design methods to reduce operating and maintenance costs, and eliminate problems associated with areas of responsibility
8. Evaluate staff performance and prepare performance review evaluations for assigned personnel. Serve as guide, coach and mentor to direct reports and staff
9. Develop periodic reports on maintenance and operational activities along with recommendations for enhancing building maintenance
10. Review invoices submitted by contractor(s) for all related services and submit to manager for approval
11. Assist with the preparation of specifications and selection of tenders for minor works
12. Develop and foster excellent working relationships with relevant key stakeholders
13. Liaise and coordinate with other departments as needed

| Experience |
Minimum 5 years of progressive field experience and leadership of similar operations

• Able to effectively organize, manage, and monitor staff, contractors, consultants, and expenditures for assigned Maintenance functions
